A life- long Conservationist, Tammi Nygaard was born and raised in rural Alberta where her passion for the environment began at an early age. Throughout her career Tammi has been the driving force behind local environmental awareness and education in her home Town of Drumheller, Alberta. As a founding member of the Drumheller & District Environmental Action Network and the Drumheller Recycling Association Tammi has strived to make a positive difference in her community. Her career has spanned 22 years in the waste management industry and she is now taking on an additional role as an instructor for the SWANA Northern Lights Chapter.
