Sheri Praski is a Professional Engineer with EcoStrategies Consulting and is currently contracted as the Executive Director with SWANA NLC (Solid Waste Association of North America – Northern Lights Chapter). Sheri worked with the City of Saskatoon for 5 years as the Manager of the Environmental Services Branch; with Saskatchewan Highways and Transportation for 7 years; and in Environmental Consulting for a few years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan and is a Professional Engineer and a Fellow of Engineers Canada. Sheri is active on several environmental boards and committees. Sheri and her family live on an acreage near Saskatoon in an energy-conscious home (which they designed) and grow much of their own produce. Sheri is married to Jason Praski, an engineer who shares her passion for environmental issues, and they have two children.
