Crisis Management

The Crisis Management Committee is a team dedicated to assisting communities with high impact events ranging from local emergencies to far reaching disasters related to waste management. This team will assist incident command as a cooperating agency in the event of disaster.

The Crisis Management Committee has provided some documents to assist with planning for emergency situations. We welcome feedback and ideas on how to make these resources more valuable.

Note that these documents are intended to provide information, background, and ideas for developing an Emergency Response Plan (ERP). They are not considered to be a complete ERP nor may all information be appropriate for all uses. Individuals responsible for developing ERPs, including those involved in disaster debris management need to develop appropriate plans and take appropriate action based on site specific requirements and specific situations. SWANA, Northern Lights Chapter, Crisis Committee and training faculty members will not be held responsible or liable for actions or omissions by others. These documents are for information only.
