Compost Facility Operator Training Course

The Compost Council of Canada is offering the Compost Facility Operator Training Course.

One Week – FIVE 3.5-hour sessions including the optional operator’s exam

To be held during the week of November 18-22, 2024

Start Time: 11am Eastern Time

(12:30pm Newfoundland; 12pm (noon) Atlantic; 10am Central; 9am Mountain; 8am Pacific)

Course Fee =  $695 + applicable taxes (CCC/SWANA Members)

$895 + applicable taxes (potential members)

Certification Exam = $150 + applicable taxes

About the Course’s Virtual Format:

The Council’s well-recognized compost facility operator’s course will be presented in ZOOM format in five 3.5-hour sessions each day (Monday to Friday) during the week of November 18th 2024. In addition to our principal trainer, Larry Conrad, the sessions will also feature additional experts in the organics recycling field to provide additional in-depth discussions and learning. Sessions will be recorded, allowing for registrants’ continued access throughout the training period.

ARWMAS Cost of Landfilling Workshop

The Association of Regional Waste Management Authorities of Saskatchewan hosted a workshop on The Cost of Landfilling in Saskatchewan.  The workshop was presented by the SWANA Northern Lights Chapter and sponsored by the Government of Saskatchewan.
